Project Management and Evaluation (PME)
The Project Management and Evaluation (PME) Division at CSIR-CSIO plays a critical role in supporting the institute’s S&T efforts. It’s responsibilities span the review and approval process for CSIR/Externally Funded Project proposals, continuous monitoring of project progress. The division acts as a liaison between the various scientific departments ensuring the effective implementation of research projects funded by CSIR/other Govt. of India agencies.
PME also provide support to PIs in preparing project completion reports and issuance of documents like SE and UC certificates. It organizes key meetings such as LSG and PPRC, responds to project related RTI queries and representations from stakeholders, and supports both internal and external audits. The division also prepares quarterly and Hindi progress reports, manages budget and priority-related tasks, maintain project related TDS data, and handles the signing of NDAs and project agreements.
