Challenge

Demonstration of AI based Solutions

CSIR-CSIO is organizing a challenge on showcasing AI driven application in the major themes. There are exciting prizes to be won. You can submit your entries as an individual or a team. A team should should register only once.

Themes

The participants should demonstrate AI-driven solutions for the following themes

AI for agriculture
AI for startups
AI for affordable healthcare
AI for defense applications
AI for social good
AI for education
AI for disaster management
AI for smart city applications
AI for other applications

Deadline

Submit your application on or before May 18, 2019, last date of registration for challenge.

Application process

Stage 1: Submit a write-up clearly indicating the innovative element of your solution and register before the deadline.
Stage 2: Selected participants will demonstrate their working solutions on May 22, 2019 at CSIR-CSIO to the jury. The participants can also bring an additional poster demonstrating their work.

Selection process

Preliminary Selection : A preliminary selection will be performed by an expert panel to shortlist top 10 applications for the final rounds
Winner Selection : Top winners will be selected by a jury based on the final demonstrations by the participants.

May 20, 2019: Announcement of results of Stage-1
May 22, 2019: Demonstration of working solution at CSIR-CSIO
May 22, 2019: Announcement of final results and certificate distribution

Awards/Prizes

Winners will be announced on May 22, 2019 after demonstrating their solutions. Winners will be awarded the certificates and cash prizes worth ₹50000.

Terms and Conditions

Teams consisting of 1-4 members are allowed.
Teams should clearly demonstrate the innovative element of their work.
Participants should make their own travel arrangements. Accommodation might be available on request on first come first serve basis.
The decision of the jury will be final and binding.
Only school, college/university students, project fellows and researchers are allowed to participate.
Teams should demonstrate the working solutions either software or hardware.

Registration

Please note that anyone who is interested to participate in workshop as well as challenge should register separately for both events. A certificate of participation will be awarded to the participants
