"Instruments are the key to the
advancement of scientific, engineering, and medical research with the continuous
development of newer and improved fusions of technologies. Recent innovations in
computational techniques coupled with the advances in computer technology enable
us to tackle large-scale practical problems for advanced instrumentation which
have not imagined before. Computational Instrumentation
(CI) is an interdisciplinary engineering specialty motivated by an
emerging revolutionary impact of computing on engineering analysis and design.
Through the use of embedded computational intelligence in instruments
facilitated scientists to solve critical problems and new findings in turn
enable the development of more powerful and sometimes novel instruments. The
conference aims to provide a forum for interaction and exchange of ideas among
scientists, engineers, researchers and users actively engaged in the area of
computational instrumentation."
