Indo-Swiss Training Centre, an institute that pioneered a specific style of 'Skill Based Training Programme' to provide state of the art technical education up to diploma level, aims at producing professionals endowed with technical competence and leadership qualities. The Institute aims - · To infuse thorough knowledge and impart industry -oriented practical training to make the students a breed apart. · To inculcate a sense of discipline and responsibility coupled with logical thinking, so that they are an asset for their employers. · To instil a high level of self confidence to make them successful in all walks of life including entrepreneurship. · To emphasise their all round development, by ensuring participation in cultural activities, group discussions, social get-togethers, sports, etc. · To imbibe qualities that make them better citizens. · To create professional competence. · To achieve ISO 9002. ISTC trained professionals serve as a link between design engineers and skilled workers.

ISTC campus is spread over an area of around 20 acres. The institute is housed in three main technical blocks - Instrument Technology Block, the School Building, Die & Mould Block - and a Hostel complex. Machine shops, Assembly areas, Instrumentation laboratory, Metrology section, CNC Lathe and many other facilities are located in Instrument Technology Block The school building houses Mechatronics and Industrial Automation Department, Library, Computer Centre, etc.. Drafting hall and Lecture rooms are also located in this building. Highly sophisticated facility required for training in the area of Die and Mould Making is situated in the third block . R&D laboratories and Central Library at CSIO provide the necessary scientific and technological environment. The Health Centre, Guest House, Community Centre, Canteen and a beautifully laid residential campus for the staff add to its pride. |

members, from time to time, undergo various refresher courses/training
/programmes to keep pace with the fast changing technological scenario all
over . The faculty members visit abroad to widen the horizons
of their knowledge for the benefit of the students. |

Regular Courses · Three Year Diploma in Instrument Technology · Four Year Advanced Diploma in Mechatronics and Industrial Automation · Four Year Advanced Diploma in Die and Mould Making Short Term Courses (for personnel from industry)
In addition to regular courses , short term courses are also offered for personnel from industry on various Conventional Machining Techniques, Non- Conventional Machining Techniques; Designing of Dies, Moulds, Jigs, Fixtures & Tools, Auto CAD, PCB Designing & Manufacturing , Pneumatic Systems, Basics of Analog and Digital Electronics, Microprocessors & Interfacing.
